neuroscience: dehumanfying?

first, philosophy arises as people seek to find out the why and how of life and of living. then psychology arises to bring about a statistical representation of the what and attempt to explain the why and how with the what. subsequently neuroscience became more popular as it provides real, hard and cold evidence of the what, why, how, and even the when and where.
some people shudder when i enthuse about neuroscience, how people behave the way they do, probably because they have damaged neurons, lesser neurons, smaller hippocampus and what nots. perhaps someone just cant remember your birthday or your favourite food because he/she has a smaller hippocampus. perhaps he/she cant see you wave to catch his/her attention because the visual cortex wasnt activated. he looks but he doesnt see. why does using neuroscience to explain human mind, abstract thinking dehumanify humans?
most research shows that area A in the brain stimulates area B and therefore area C gives a certain end-result. no wonder people think that neuroscience makes everything seems like computer science, brain models become computer models = dehumanifying. but a brain is much more complex than a computer model. theoretically, area A in the brain stimulates area B and therefore area C gives a certain end-result. but realistically, human physiology doesnt have one constant state and you dont only have your eyes stimulated. you have your ears, skin, tongue and nose stimulated all at the same time. and thats just the 5 senses you learn in primary school. as you advance in your studies, you learnt that there are more than 5 senses. there's propioceptors theres nociceptors and all these receptors activate different areas in the brain and then go on to influence each others' outputs to present itself in an unique behavior. neuroscience can explain one aspect, when all other variables remain constant.
many tried to make one living, working cell. have they truly succeeded?
artificial intelligence, can it really take over a human mind?
lab must have gone to my head.
