its still too early to rejoice yet, but im super glad that organic chem test is FINALLY OVER! sleeping for only about 10hrs in total over these 3 days can be quite stimulating. my muscarinic and adrenergic receptors are all highly activated. guess i had too much coffee with too little sleep.

during french oral test yesterday, i was supposed to prepare a short commentary of a politician's day. the actions that they want us to cover were all on that little paper. then after that, the tutor will ask us questions based on what we said.
so he asked "vous êtes allé votre bureau, comment?"
"le métro/subway!"
"vous n'avez pas de voiture? pourquoi?"
and i was like - oh no!! stupid sokee, a politician without a car?! what's more, a politician taking MRT to go work or to a press conference?! then EUREKA! "ma voiture a été....." then i scrambled to think of the french word for 'spoilt', and i gave up and said "ma voiture a été 'spoilt'" with an apologetic look. and he nodded. =__= is there such a word in french? *shrugs*

and during french lecture, we learnt how to talk about continuous action - ing, ing, ing! - être en train de .... then theres loads of pictures that are very open-ended, so we can anyhow come up with sentences, and theres this guy who just kept saying "ils sont en train de s'embrasser" - "they are kissing", and it happens that those pictures are so open-ended that that line works for them all. by the end of the lesson, all of us know, at the very least, how to say 'they are kissing'.

during pharmacology,
lecturer: topical application of atropine or scopolamine can cause dilation of the pupil, so its easier to check the eyes. but after application, will not be able to see properly, will be a little disoriented and hence people are advised not to drive after application. oh and by the way, in the past, women who wanted to look prettier applied atropine or scopolamine into their eye, dilate their pupils and they look prettier and more attractive to the opposite sex!
my friend: its true! they said that when women saw someone they are interested in, their pupils dilate!
me: my gosh! pretty women in love can't drive!!

oh and from david - quite cute i think - but i have no idea which couple can have their hips/legs the same size.


sighs. argh. my laptop is spoilt.
