birds

went to work today.
but had to cab to another branch to relief a class.
waited for a very long time before i got a cab. and therefore met this eccentric driver.
cab driver: that man cut your "queue" isnt it? so poor thing! but i know you came first!
me laugh.
cab driver: its good that i see you first.
me: of course of course.
cab driver: do u have any ideas why some people love keeping birds, bring them out to the parks, and sat there for hours looking at the birds and whistling to them?
me: maybe they wished that they are birds, with wings so that they can fly from this place.
cab driver: agree. i think theres a psychological factor. they feel trapped, so they trapped another soul, to remind themselves that there may be wings, but we are all caged nonetheless. in the past, i kept 2 lovebirds. i forgot to give enough food when i went on a holiday. one was dead when i returned. and since they are lovebirds, the other died after a short while. after that, i disliked the idea of caging birds, which by nature, are animals which crave freedom, and should fly whereever they want to go to.
i met all sorts of people today.
