miscellaneous:

there's alot of firsts since i came london

1. first time i got a room all to myself - i do enjoy that tremendously, since i stock up with food, and eat while using my computer [definitely not allowed back home, for extreme cleanliness purpose]

2. first time i cook, like major cooking [other than home economics of course, and this cooking is nowhere near home econs]

3. first time i bake [though its only kueh bangkit, and really crunchy ones!]

4. first time i peeled potatoes and carrots, and chopped potatoes and carrots under the careful guidance of raquel, not to mention first time i cut meat, remove tendons and fats.. :)

5. first time i flew on a plane, and planned a journey alone [of course, i was staying with shimin, hence once i reached glasgow, i'm really very safe :) ]

6. first time i'm attempting to plan another journey, this time even the destination i will be alone [still considering, cuz i'm worried about accomodation, about staying alone at nite..girls dorm would be safe wouldnt it?]

7. first time i talk and sing to myself in public while walking to and fro school [i need to keep myself entertained]

8. and!!! first time i hear snores in lecture..HAHAHAHA..yesterday's lecture was super boring, i dozed alittle in the second half - should have just left the LT, anyway i was already seated at the last row, but there's like a desk RIGHT at the back that students usually wouldnt sit, unless they are super late and dont want to walk down for seats..so like in the last half an hr of lecture, i heard light snoring behind me and i was like hmmmms..this is weird [i wouldnt expect anyone to sit there] then the snoring got louder[about 5minutes later], such that students from one or two rows in front of me start turning to look at me and seeing that i'm wide awake, tried to stretched their necks to see who could possibly be sitting behind me.. but the desk is too high for anyone to see anythg..then the snoring got impossibly louder [another few minutes later] such that everyone in front start turning to look behind, and as usual they see sok ee wide awake in the last row and crane their necks to see who's at the desk..then this girl went to check it out, went back to her seat giggling -__-" the lecturer kept rambling through out this snoring [i cant catch a single thg of what he said], and he kept craning his neck to check who's at the desk too..finally a student walked to the back and shook him really hard, how did i know she shook him really hard? cuz she re-enacted how she woke him up to her friends..HAHAHA..the lecturer decided to end earlier, so after the snoring stopped for two minutes, he ended -__-" seems like stopping the snoring abit useless..the guy escaped really quickly, so no one else caught how he looked like..HAHA..phantom snorer
