i conclude i SO DO NOT have monday blues today!

haha..i finished my 2333words essay over the weekend!!!! i think the essay is crap though..anyone wants to read it? i dont understand what i'm writing, dont think anyone will..crap..as long as i dont fail the module can le! through out the chionging and stuff..i still ended up watching two movies on the computer with raquel..haha..watched stardust and a knight's tale..i like stardust! a knight's tale is NOT bad, but ok la, i still like stardust..i got the stardust song in my head..its called 'rule the world' by the band called 'take that'

and today! today! today!!! me and raquel baked the kueh bangkit..HAHAHA..we had TWO tries..
i was to microwave the flour to get rid of moisture..so the first try, i didnt look after the flour and the flour got charred, and not only that, raquel's microwave container melted cuz of the too hot and charred flour.. :( my bad..
and because charred flour emits horrible smoke, and which the smoke alarm outside can detect, the flour needs to be thrown away..BUT, cuz its too hot, it cant be dumped into the bin, and let it continue emitting toxic fumes for another false fire alarm, raquel told me to run outside to throw..and so off i ran in slippers and tshirt into the cold, i think the security guard thought i was crazy..then when i came back, i dont have my swipe card, so he has to open the door for me..HAHA..
the second try was much much better, raquel kept a hawk eye on it..heehee..we had lotsa fun looking at the dough flattened by itself..anyway i would say the result is pretty darn good, because (1) raquel has never seen, nor eaten and much less bake kueh bangkit before. and (2) i'm an idiot who had never baked before. SO YAY!! been trying to load the pic of the kueh bangkit..but i'm giving up..just check out my photo album!! the shape is weird but its ok!! the outside regions of the cookies taste like kueh bangkit, the middle portion taste like tutu kueh..ERPS..haha..not a bad thing!

gonna get more tapioca flour tomorrow so as to bake more more more kueh bangkit to finish the coconut milk..and i dont mind the kueh bangkit..i love kueh bangkit now..YAYNESS..ok can u see i'm real happy?

OH and raquel cooked red bean soup with red dates in it..and it looks really good and smells really good, unlike the usual red bean soup that i see in sg..AND for someone who seriously dislike redbean soup and love green bean soup, i'm very tempted to have some of her red bean soup..

i have watched more movies now that i'm in london..which is really funny..
watched: the kingdom, becoming jane, ghostrider, stardust, atonement, a knight's tale, censored lust caution, the wedding date, marie antoinette, 13 going on 30..i cant rmb what else i have watched here..haha..
oh and i really like happy films. so if anyone would like to watch happy films probably can watch stardust, a knight's tale, the wedding date and 13 going on 30..

Having sweet and sour pork tomorrow! recipe given to me by huimin through some URL..really happy! hahaha..oh and i learnt how to cut pork today, removing the tendons and some fats :)
