yesterday, monday

had a super tiring lab session, there's so many steps, and i didnt read my lab instructions beforehand.. my lab partner read the lab instructions but she asked me for every step and i got kind of stressed..apparently all of them still think i'm very pro in lab..seriously, i dont do research! depending so much on me will stress me out!!! so basically i did the pipetting and streaking [that' almost everythg!] while my lab partner acts like my research assistant [i aint complaining for this little gift] since she will hand me the pipette when my hand reached for it, or open a tube for me, put things nicely for me to work on..HAHA..

got back to hall, raquel and i cooked dinner..its 锅贴! haha..seriously i was super happy la! anyway raquel cooked 锅贴 before, so she become chief chef and all sok ee did was be her cook assistant, hand her the plates, help put in the 锅贴, pour hot water while she choreograph my movements beside me.. she's trying to make me learn advance cooking but i'm not complaining! since the food turns up superb! she made her own sauce too, putting soy sauce, vinegar [yes vinegar!!] wine etc etc..and it turned up very nice too..after cooking, i was so happy with what i saw , i told her want to take a picture with her in it as well! but she said she's not dressed prettily so she refused :(
anyway she put the dumplings very very nicely on a plate just so i can have a pretty picture of the 锅贴.. so here you go! more pictures on my photo album!! heehee..


























then we end our day by watching two movies, marie antoinette and becoming jane..very nice..i'm inspired to read jane austen's books now! next time i go camden i will buy the 3 books for 5pounds..ok i think when i go back singapore, my luggage will be overweight!

going on an eastern europe trip with jinfeng and his friends, but so far, i tink he and his friends are doing most of the work.. i feel useless! :( HAHA.. not that i'm complaining..blehs..

today, tuesday

raquel taught me the shuttle bus route to the guy's campus! so i dont have to walk for more than half an hr to go guy's now! so i dont sing "london bridge is falling down" much too, since i only sing that song when i go to guy's campus..HEEHEE..

raquel is very nice too!! she bought shrimps, peas, salmon and made dinner today! i was still troubled over what to cook for dinner and tada! she said she's cooking fried rice and pan fried salmon..she marinated salmon the proper way [unlike me who just dump oyster sauce on everythg and anythg and do it the lazy ovening way], then she pan fried it such that the salmon is moist and tender! the fried rice she made was yummy too..i had like 2.5servings..HAHA..i'm to repay her meal by buying ingredients for another meal and she will cook..she doesnt trust my cooking..HEE..i'm her disciple in cooking now, she teaches me by her side, and i'm not complaining about that! heehee..
