friday went fine! haha..me and guoyuan went to west hampstead to take a look at the hampstead campus of king's..its quite old, and the hall has only double rooms, unlike brian creamer house in which i stay in is made up of single rooms..we walked around the area, debated about the security in the area..many wealthy people lived in that area, and so there's many pretty [expensive] houses..i saw really few people walking along the small little roads, i find that it will be scary to walk at night..guoyuan thinks that since there's so many wealthy people living there, their houses will be very secure, so no burglar will attempt to rob those houses, and therefore it will be very safe..that's besides the point isnt it! haha..since i'll be walking OUTSIDE the houses and not living in those houses..haha.. we visited a cemetery in that area, it was actually a nice experience to go to the cemetery, read the gravestones and just kind of relax in that peace and serenity offered by the place.. then we went to this huge shopping complex at finchley [which is not very far] and shopped at the huge sainsbury there..

then stupid me, brought my bag of groceries and went to oxford circus to meet raquel for shopping..i seriously find myself stupid, since we were going to shop and i brought a bag of groceries to shop -__- oxford circus is like this huge shopping area, sth like orchard road in singapore..topshop, zara, roxy etc were all having sales!! but yea i didnt buy anythg, raquel bought like afew pieces of clothings..window shopping was fun, especially with another girl whereby u chat and shop and tried on clothes... then we went to have dinner at this jap/korean place in chinatown..teriyaki rice for 5pounds..not bad la har..just that half way through the dinner they tried to do some candlelit dinner sort of thing so i cant see what i'm eating -__- went back to hall, and duel raquel in ds..then we tried to go slp earlier [11pm] so as to wake at 2am to watch aust open women's finals..

the finals was ok...i wouldnt say its thrilling to watch since i think ivanovic could do better..haha..i know my idol is sharapova, but that just means i would like to see a strong opponent when sharapova plays, and ivanovic is strong! just dunno what happened..haha.. after the match, went back to sleep, and woke like 8am to meet the nus exchange students..

we went to east st market, the groceries and alot of stuff were really cheap there! bought a lunch box which can contain my sandwich better, but i end up buying 4snickers for 1pound and put them in the lunch box -___- haha..then i bought this HUGE BOWL of mushrooms for 1pound, there's ALOT..haha..so i shared the bowl with guoyuan..and its still more than what i usually buy at sainsbury and cheaper too! then we went to ives place, discuss our europe trip and stuff, got kinda bored and sian diao there..ate free lunch and dinner since ives' place is catered..then we went back really late..like around 9pm..haha..while walking back i was quite freaked out..thanks jinfeng for the listening ear..haha..

this morning woke early to watch men's finals, but i didnt get to finish watching it, when i had to leave to watch raquel's volleyball match..kcl won against ucl, its a friendly match..so after the match some of us went for food and drinks at a nearby pub..first time i enter a pub, and in broad daylight..its like a cafe inside..didnt drink! we came back to hear the fire alarm going off, turns up sth was burnt in our kitchen..someone left the popcorn behind and it burnt..i wonder if the microwave is still working..still super smelly :s

haha.. ok i shall go watch tennis replay now..
